CMMS Salon se Leve The Salon se Leve evenings are gifts of pure joy from Dr. Paul Wirth, Director of the Central Minnesota Music School. The young artists are selected from among Minnesota's top competition winners. Each featured performer is given an honorarium by the Salon se Leve. Please contact Dr. Paul Wirth for more information if you or your organization would like to sponsor a future 'Salon' event or provide honoria. Support is welcomed from both individuals and corporations. Salon se Leve is a program operated by the Central Minnesota Music School which is a nonprofit organization. All contributions are tax deductible under section 501(c)-3 of the IRC. Please may checks payable to Central Minnesota Music School. Suggested donations are $60 for an individual and $120 for a family. |

Aaron Brown, last spring’s First
Place winner of the Schubert Club Junior High String Division will be
paired with Matthew Peterson, also a Schubert Club First Prize winner. As
Aaron demonstrates his virtuosity on the “upright” double bass, Matt
(who stands at 6’ 2”) will play the first movement of
Rachmaninoff’s 2nd Piano Concerto. – and together, they will start
us off on a real “celestial” musical high!!

Marie Neve, a multi-award winning pianist in her SsL debut teams up with
Rolf Haas, a perennial SsL favorite in a dynamic display of musicianship
and virtuosity. Having shared the stage together last spring
as winners of the GTCYS Concerto Competition, they will undoubtedly
dazzle us with their consummate musicianship and virtuosity –
eliciting once again; “Bravo – Bravissimo!!”
