Ann DuHamel began her piano lessons at the age of six, and studied with several teachers before transferring at age 16 to Dr. Paul Wirth at CMMS. She graduated summa cum laude from the College of St. Benedict in 1996 with degrees in piano performance and composition. She then attended the University of Notre Dame where she received her Masters of Music degree in piano performance and literature with a concentration in accompanying.
Ann has played in master classes and lessons for Awadagin Pratt, John Wustman, baritone Sanford Sylvan, and Hans Boepple. She is in frequent demand as an accompanist in the St. CLoud area. Currently she serves as the Assistant Artistic Director of CMMS, where she maintains a busy studio of 60 traditional and Suzuki students.
